Sabine works in a hairdressing salon in Berlin. In order to keep the job, she has to occasionally grab the boss. She also feeds her boyfriend Frank. Sabine has simple dreams: sleek-cars and holidays on the beach.

For me, this movie is one of the best movie released in the year 1990. It is my favorite drama movie because parts felt very similar to my life experience. I was so emotionally destroyed that I saw the entire movie three times on the internet almost in one go.
It is a movie that truly knows what it is and wastes not even a second in conveying what that is. I never expected anything from this animated before and I blew my mind. The opening song still gives me goosebumps and increases the warmth of my body.
